I appreciate the inclusion of more story elements for the series, although it's quite heavy-handed early on. It's nice that Samus has been fleshed out, but there's a considerable amount of dialog. The gameplay is fast, action packed, and somewhat more linear than most Metroids, but it doesn't feel like a detriment.
