The sequel to Gamevil’s Apple App Store RPG hit Zenonia, titled Zenonia 2: The Lost Memories, is slated to be available for download sometimes next month in March.
As someone who greatly enjoyed the first Zenonia (as well as the Korean developer’s beat’em up Hybrid: Eternal Whisper), I’m definitely looking forward to this. Zenonia was a little rough around the edges, but it was the first game I played on the iPhone that didn’t seem dumbed down and really showed the platform was capable of games with a bit more depth than simply matching 3 colored gems.
Feel free to watch my review for the first Zenonia below, though keep in mind it was the first review I ever did which contained gameplay footage, and it’s awfully painful to watch. I believe Gamevil swung by to comment and favorite the video though, so it can’t be that bad!
